Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair reduction by area, timed to the growth cycle and planned as a full course.
Laser energy is absorbed by pigment in the follicle and disables it during its active growth phase. Because only a portion of hairs are active at any time, reduction requires a course spaced to that cycle.
What it treats
- —Face, upper lip and chin
- —Underarms
- —Bikini and Brazilian
- —Legs, lower or full
- —Back and chest
- —Ingrown hairs and razor irritation
What to expect
- 01
Skin-type assessment and a test patch before the first full session.
- 02
Shaving the area beforehand, eye protection, and cooling throughout.
- 03
Six to eight sessions spaced four to eight weeks apart depending on the area.
Aftercare
No sun, hot showers or exercise for twenty-four hours, and no waxing or plucking for the duration of the course — shaving only. Occasional maintenance sessions keep the result.
Who it suits
Patients who will commit to a full course and can avoid sun exposure through it.
